I am the head of the team Scientific IT-System at Peter Grünberg Institute / Jülich Centre for Neutron Science, which are institutes at Forschungszentrum Jülich, a research centre in Germany.

The design and development of visualization systems has been an essential part of my activities over twenty years. I got started with Python about ten years ago.

In October 2012 I had my first talk at a Python Conference (PyCon DE 2012). I had the impression, that people were very interested in our GR Framework.
