Josh is a community organizer, web developer, and open source advocate with a penchant for armchair philosophy. After years of running meetups and working as a freelance developer, community work went from hobby to career and he joined O'Reilly Media as a community manager for open source and web technology. These days Josh works on the Google Open Source outreach team, and serves as volunteer director for Open Source Initiative and communications lead for North Bay Python.
