Wingware Python IDE Open Space

Organizers

Stephan Deibel and John Ehresman, Wingware

Location and Time

Times: Friday 8:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM -- both in Hanover A

Description

This open space is a chance to meet the core developers of Wing IDE. We can answer questions, help you get Wing IDE set up with your code base, demonstrate features, or just shoot the breeze about Python and IDEs from the perspective of having worked on this Python IDE for the past 12 years.

This is also a good opportunity to see some of the new features in Wing IDE 4.0, which adds find uses, refactoring, a diff/merge tool, and special support for matplotlib and Django (including debugging Django template files).

We will tailor the open space based on what the attendees would like to do.

Related Events

If you can't make it (or even if you can!) please come see Wingware in the Expo Hall in booth 321.

There is also a Python IDE Panel this year, where a number of Python IDEs will be presented and discussed.

Attending / Suggestions

Please add your name and/or requests for what you would like to see covered in the open space session:
