Helping On-Site
Now's the time to head over here: On-Site!
Be sure to monitor http://twitter.com/pycon while at the conference.
Helping Out at PyCon
PyCon is organized and run by volunteers from the Python community.
Anyone can help, and all help is very much appreciated.
To start with, please subscribe to the pycon-organizers mailing list.
This doesn't commit
you to anything, it just serves to keep us informed, in the loop.
There are a few categories for volunteering:
- Conference Committee
- Program Committee
- Tutorial Committee
- Local Experts
- On-Site
- PyCon Website
- PyCon Website Developer
For helping at PyCon, please add your info to the Volunteer Signup page. And check out the On-Site link above.
While at the conference keep an eye out for calls for help in Volunteer topics at the live conversations at https://convore.com/pycon-2011 and pitch in as you can!
Conference Staff
You can also sign up for a role on the PyCon Staff list too.
Remember: PyCon is a community conference. Please do your part!
Publicizing PyCon
One great way you can help PyCon is simply by letting people know about it.
See Publicizing PyCon for materials and ideas about how.
