Dana is a mapmaker and geo-geek, with interests in GIS, Python, and journalism. She has a background in science and geography, and she currently works as a spatial analyst at Azavea, a software development firm in Philadelphia. Dana organizes introductory python workshops through the Philly Python Users Group, and she co-organizes Hacks/Hackers Philly.
