Change the future

Open Science

These Open Spaces gatherings (7-8 Friday; 6-7 Saturday; room 202 for both) are hosted by the newly founded, newly funded Center for Open Science (http://centerforopenscience.org). We strongly believe that Python will be a major player in the open science movement, and we want to know what you're doing or give you ideas about how you might get involved.

We will briefly introduce the Center and our flagship software (the Open Science Framework; OSF). We'll then go around the room and do brief introductions.

Other things that we can chat about: the OSF sprints, increasing minority involvement in STEM fields, meta-science research, analyses, etc.
