Maksim Tsvetovat

Maksim (Max) Tsvetovat is an interdisciplinary scientist, entrepreneur, author, engineer, and a jazz musician.

Max is a CTO of DeepMile Networks, a social media analytics firm, and an affiliate professor at George Mason University. He teaches social network analysis and social media analysis courses at GMU, and practices what he preaches in his work as a consultant and software engineer.

Max has published over 40 scientific articles and presented at over 200 conferences, including a sold-out PyCon 2012 tutorial and a TED talk at TEDxMoscow (videos of both talks are available on YouTube).

He is the author of the book "Social Network Analysis for Startups" and upcoming book "Hacking Social Complexity" (both with O'Reilly).
