Andrew is the co-founder and CTO of Parse.ly, a tech startup that provides big data insights to the web's best publishers. The company's flagship product, Parse.ly Dash, is a real-time web analytics system built specifically for online media. GigaOM said it is "revolutionizing web publishing" and VentureBeat called it "catnip for editors".

Prior to starting Parse.ly, Andrew was a technologist with nearly a decade of experience in software engineering. He earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NYU. He acted as a technical lead on a small software team within Morgan Stanley. He built large-scale web applications and systems through Aleph Point, Inc., the software consultancy he owned and operated.

A dedicated Pythonista, JavaScript hacker, and open source advocate, Andrew is also a published technical author and editor.
