Brett has been a core contributor to Python since 2003. Currently he is a software engineer at Google Waterloo working on shopping-related cards in Google Now. Brett currently lives in the Greater Toronto Area with his wife, Andrea, and a cat who is too cute and smart for her own good (but that doesn't make him a cat person; his wife thinks otherwise). In the whole east coast vs. west coast thing, Brett falls on the side of Vancouver.
