Richard Jones
Richard has been doing Python for almost two decades and is an enthusiastic advocate of Python (created PyPI), game programming (runs PyWeek) and messing about with computers in general. He studied robotics at university but that was a long time ago and the technology has moved on and gotten a lot simpler since then.
Richard has been speaking about Python at conferences for over a decade and has delivered many tutorials during that time. He had the honor of presenting keynotes at Europython 2010 and at PyCon APAC in 2012. In addition he has also lectured on Python at RMIT University to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
