Jacqueline Kazil is an Innovation Specialist at 18F. Jackie is a data scientist and software developer passionate about human behavior and open data. Prior to 18F, she was a Presidential Innovation Fellow focused on Disaster Response and Recovery. She founded PyLadies DC and Geo DC. She also runs Django District, etc. and assists DC Python. Jackie received her MA from the University of Missouri, and she is currently working on her PhD in Computational Social Science at George Mason University with a focus on organizational dynamics. She lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and their three rescued dogs.
