John Carelli is an Assistant Professor at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in the Computer Science and Information Technology Department. Prior to a relatively recent transition into academia, he spent decades working for Bell Laboratories and related companies in the area of integrated circuit design. His side passion is music and musical performance, particularly singing, and he is presently combining that with his interest in software development to investigate novel musical applications using Python.
