Matthew Gordon
I am an erstwhile biological physicist cum digital cartographer and kinetic fire artist. After finishing my doctorate in 2006 and postdoctoral studies at Stanford, I joined Palantir as a Forward Deployed Engineer, where I worked with customers across the world helping them understand and visualize their data. I joined Kairos Aerospace in 2016, specializing in GIS and machine learning.
I also founded Hydrocarbon Collective (motto: Beacuse Art Should Be Dangerous), and create interactive kinetic sculptures with metal and fire. In 2016 we received a Burning Man arts grant for our piece Torch Song.
