Dan is Lead Platform Engineer at Magnetic, an online advertising company in Manhattan focusing on helping brands find interested consumers based on their search activity outside of the major search engines. Before joining Magnetic, Dan was a member of the "Python Army" at MongoDB, Inc (then 10gen, Inc), where he worked on PyMongo, assisted users and clients, and spoke at several "MongoDB Days" conferences. When not programming, he can be found skiing on mountains in Vermont, Colorado, Wyoming, and California (and possibly at Mont Tremblant before or after PyCon).
