Rupa Dachere is the Founder and President of CodeChix.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education, promotion and mentorship of female engineers. She is also a Member of Technical Staff at VMware and an Advisor for the Stanford GAP-For-Good program. Rupa has worked at multinationals and startups spanning Telecom/Datacom, Mobile and Virtualization industries for about two decades. Her dream is to one day have parity in the number of female and male engineers in academia and industry. Rupa did her Computer Science studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
