Vic Kelson

Vic is a professional engineer and groundwater hydrologist with Layne Christensen company. He's been programming computers in various languages since the late 1970s (anyone remember SAIL? BLISS-10?). Vic has been a Python enthusiast since he first discovered it in 1997 (it was the complex numbers that lured him in). His work is mostly focused on the development of groundwater and surface-water models, and on general hydrological applications. Vic has attended PyCon many times -- long enough to remember waiting in line for the box lunches in DC -- and considers it one of the most valuable conferences he regularly attends.
