Mele Sax-Barnett works at Urban Airship, a Portland, Oregon company that powers push notifications and customer engagement for thousands of mobile apps. She is a member of the Customer Engineering team, and prepares and manages the geographic data that UA customers use for location targeting. She is also VP of the OpenStreetMap US Board, and enjoys teaching others about free and open source geographic software and data.
