Jannis is the author of a number of Open Source software packages and a core developer of Python projects like Django, virtualenv and pip. He's a member of the Python Software Foundation and Django Software Foundation as well as a director of the German Django association. He regularly co-organizes the Django User Group Berlin and loves to attend development sprints with the focus on web technologies. He works as a web developer on the Mozilla Developer Network (MDN). He's a connoisseur of good coffee and hopelessly likes all things Star Trek.
