Amy Roberts

Amy Roberts is a nutrition epidemiology doctoral candidate at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a technology entrepreneur. Her research focuses on obesity prevention and environmental influences on diet. She is currently working to develop better diet tools using wearable technology (Google Glass). Amy attended Hacker School, an intensive computer science and programming master class, in the Fall of 2013 and became excited about bringing the opportunities for data analysis and visualization inb Python to academic researchers.
