Exhibit Hall

The Exhibit Hall will be located in Exhibit Hall A/B in the Oregon Convention Center. Once again in 2017 we will be serving breakfast, all breaks, and lunch in the expo hall. We have allotted all sponsors time to eat lunch prior to the attendee lunch. Please prepare to have your booths staffed from 8:00am until 5pm, and during the opening reception. It is mandatory that your booth is staffed for the "active times" (see below). Move-in for the Exhibit Hall begins on Thursday, May 18 at 8:00am until 5:00pm. There is an opening reception on the Exhibit Floor at 6:00pm on Thursday. #### Exhibit Floor Times * **Expo with booths:** Thursday, May 18, 2017 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm * Active time is from 6:00pm until 8:30pm * **Expo with booths:** Friday, May 19, 2017 - 8:00am to 5:00pm Active times are: * 8:00am until 9:30am * 10:10am until 10:50am * 12:40pm until 1:55pm * 3:45pm until 4:30pm * **Expo with booths:** Saturday, May 20, 2017 - 8:00am to 5:00pm Active times are: * 8:00am until 9:30am * 10:10am until 10:50am * 12:40pm until 1:55pm * 3:45pm until 4:30pm Move-out for the Exhibit hall booths begins at 5:00pm Saturday, May 20. Everything needs to be cleared out by 7pm. At this point, we transform the Expo Hall into the Job Fair (details for the job fair below). Note: **You have an option to opt-out of the Booth Space in the Exhibit Hall. However, if you do not opt-out before the start of the conference and leave your booth empty, a fee will be applied to your sponsorship. Many companies found good prospects during the three hour event, some receiving hundreds of resumes in a short time. **New for 2017**: The job fair will be open to the public. Tickets will be available online. Our goal is to introduce the local dev scene to PyCon and increase the Job Fair audience with quality candidates. We will market it to the local schools and user groups. * **Date & Time** Sunday, May 21 - 10:00am to 1:00pm * **Location** Exhibit Hall A/B - Oregon Convention Center. The Job Fair is open to attendees and the public from 10:00am to 1:00pm (3 hours). AM Break and Lunch will be served during the Job Fair. * **Move-in** Begins at 8:00am Sunday, May 21. * **Move-out** Begins at 1:00pm. Sponsor material should be cleared out by 3:00pm. * **Layout** Every participant will have a six foot table and chairs set aside for them; we do not use booths during the Job Fair. You are welcome to have a standing banner or customized table cloth. Give aways/ﬂyers are also welcome. Standard power will be provided. Note: The Expo Hall with booths is a different event than the Job Fair. We do not reuse the Expo Hall booths for the job fair, the entire room is reset Saturday, May 20, 2017, beginning at 5:00pm. Please opt in for either or both events during sign up.
